Why CBD + Menthol for Skin?

Cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound from the hemp plant, has been increasingly studied for its anti-inflammatory and sebum-regulating effects in skin health (1,2). CBD interacts with the skin’s endocannabinoid system to reduce excessive oil production and calm irritation, making it beneficial for blemish-prone and sensitive skin (3).

Menthol, a natural compound from mint, provides an immediate cooling and soothing sensation by activating thermoreceptors in the skin (4). It also possesses mild anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, which can help reduce the discomfort of breakouts (5).

Together, CBD and menthol offer both instant relief and longer-term balance, supporting clearer, calmer skin.

Why a Patch?

Topical creams with CBD may be inconsistent in absorption, while menthol’s cooling effect is often fleeting. A patch enables controlled, sustained release, ensuring CBD’s calming properties and menthol’s refreshing action remain effective over several hours (6).

The patch also allows targeted application directly to areas of irritation, providing focused comfort without mess or residue.
